By Car | By Train | By Hamptons' Jitney

Directions to East Hampton from New York City By car:
Take the Brooklyn Queens Expressway to the Long Island Expressway.
Exit at Exit 70 (Manorville), go south to Route 27 East (the Montauk Hwy.) all the way to East Hampton.
Continue east on Main Street, past the pond, past Newtown Lane, staying on the right past the Hook Windmill (Pantigo Lane).
Go through traffic light at the Post Office, and nine houses further on the right side of the road is a large gray house behind a long white fence with a small sign at the gate (at night there is a light over the sign and entrance to the driveway): 100 Pantigo Road (Rt. 27).
Pull into the driveway and park in front of the garage.
Enter through the patio door.

By Train: Long Island Railroad ($10.25 one way off peak) (718) 217-5477, get off at East Hampton station (can call a taxi (631) 267-2006) or walk south down Newtown Lane to Main Street. At traffic light, go left past Hook Windmill staying to the right of the windmill (Pantigo Lane, Rt. 27).
Continue past the next traffic light (at the Post Office) walking straight ahead on Rt. 27 and nine houses on the right side of the road is a big gray house behind a long white fence: 100 Pantigo Road.
This is about a 25 minute walk. Return to top

By Hampton's Jitney (bus): (about $22 one way)
(631) 281-4600, get off in East Hampton at the Palm Restaurant. Walk east, past the movie house.
At traffic light at Newtown Lane keep going straight ahead, past the Hook Windmill, staying to the right (on Pantigo Place, Rt. 27 East).
At the next traffic light (at the Post Office) continue walking straight ahead on Rt. 27 and nine houses on the right side of the road is a big gray house behind a long white fence: 100 Pantigo Road.
This is about a 15 minute walk.
